Island Vines 4th Annual 10K Race.  Come on out and support Run Vermont and CIDER

   Registered runners to meet at Snow Farm Vineyard in South Hero.

   Race starts at 10:00 am.

Pig Roast to Benefit CIDER

When:     Saturday September 9, 2017

Where:    Grand Isle Recreation Park

Donaldson Road

Grand Isle, VT

Time:       Food served from 5:00 pm till 6:30 pm

Music from 5:30 pm till 7:30 pm



Come out for an evening and join your neighbors for the annual Pig Roast to benefit CIDER !  Enjoy a good meal and some great music by “Yankee Pot Roast”.

Takeouts are available as well.  Cost per meal is $10.00 a person ($5.00 for children under twelve).

At C.I.D.E.R. we rely heavily on our volunteers to help make Grand Isle County the best county in Vermont to call home.


2018 Membership Campaign

CIDER is beginning our 2018 Membership Drive.  We are a membership organization by bylaw and always welcome new members as well as renewing all of our present members.

CIDER is a special organization that helps the Grand Isle County Community.  We offer door to door transportation, meals at “The Neighbors” in South Hero, MOW Program, Accessibility Projects, Special Need Equipment Lending Program and exercise groups, such as the Living Strong Program and Tai Chi.

The membership fee remains at $2.00 per household, however the average donation is $25.00.  If already a member please renew and if not, please join.

Weekly Shopping Trips:

Highgate Shopping Center in Saint Albans trips are August 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Hannaford Shopping in Milton Scheduled for August 1, 8,15, 22 and 29.  (pending adequate request).

Annual Ferry Trip and Picnic date is August 8th.

Annual Fair Trip is August 31st.

Special Meal Events at the “Neighbors” with Van rides offered from Alburgh:  Barbeque Chicken Luncheon on August 16th and Haddock Luncheon on August 21st.

Camp Ingall’s Picnic with Van rides offered from Alburgh is August 25th.
